A new segment arises on RetroNick.com as News of the Old (thanks for title help James & Stacy), enters the arena. Be certain to catch our retro gaming news as it happens, and we’ll keep pumping out podcasts, and will hopefully frequent a few more vintage shops. So without further ado…

A new take on an old business model as All you can Arcade hits the California area with a new twist on game rental. The company buys up, restores, and rents out vintage arcade machines to businesses and individuals who want to add some retro flair to their home or office.

There’s no delivery or pickup fee, and the games run $75 dollars a month. Games are also set to Free Play, so you don’t have to worry about going in and mucking about with the internal works, or call for more tokens.

Currently operating out of California only, Seth and Timothy Peterson plan to spread out to the east coast by the end of 2013. While I’m not certain what this news means for the collectors’ market, I can tell you that I’m happy to see someone seeking out, fixing up, and exposing these machines to a new generation of video game players.
