News of the Old! Mike Tyson Plays “Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!!!” for the very first time!
August 19, 2013: Boxing Legend (and sometimes cannibal), Mike Tyson gets the opportunity to play the classic boxing game-in which he is the titular character, for the very first time!
Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!! originally came out for the NES in 1987, so it was about time Iron Mike got his mitts on the Nintendo classic that bears his name. Tyson got to play the game in the Fox Sports 1 green room, where he was waiting to make an appearance, and they just “happened” to sit him down in front of the NES classic.
How’d he do? Well he managed to beat Glass Joe, so looks like the champ hasn’t lost his edge! Of course, we all want to catch his future match against King Hippo and who knows; maybe even a mirror match where he must defeat himself while inhabiting the body of a scrawny white man.
