You can’t stop us!

If you’ve been following me on twitter you’re aware that RetroNick.com recently suffered a catastrophic server failure (and if you haven’t been… You’re only robbing yourself of my greatness).

The entire server that Retronick.com previously inhabited utterly shit the bed. Worse yet, we had not backed up ANYTHING, and there was no redundancy in place from our provider. While it was an awful thing that happened-not just for us, but for any other simp who happened to have a virtual server on that machine, it wasn’t all terrible.

The original RetroNick blog is still alive and well on Blogger, so we did manage to migrate all of that content to the site’s current home. Louis was gracious enough to not only offer his time to rebuild the site, but also put up the server space for it. The same server space you’re reading this post from now! So for that, I am eternally grateful. Steve also stepped up to the plate in a big bad way by taking the content I did manage to copy from the cached version of the site, and throwing it back up to the new page, so huge thanks to him as well!

I’ve never known friends to step up the way you two did Steve and Louis. Believe me, I won’t forget it.

Anyway boys and girls, we’re back! Episodes 19 & 20 of RetroNick Radio will be up within a day or 2 (provided the hurricane doesn’t tear my studio down).

I was wondering if you ever considered changing the structure of your website?
Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a little more in the way
of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful
lot of text for only having one or two images. Maybe you could space it out
better?

  We literally JUST rebuilt the entire thing (as you just read), so yeah, we “considered restructuring”, I guess.
